About
belinda carter
Founder and prophetess of
gracious ladies ministries
Prophetess Belinda Carter is the mother of three children, eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She serves as an ordained Elder as well as on the intercessory prayer team, pastoral care team, and the prophetic team. She was baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost in 1975 as evidenced by speaking in tongues. Next year will mark her 50th year of salvation.
She co-founded the Bethel Christian Restoration Center in Benton Harbor, Michigan, where she is still overseer, and once served as the only female city commissioner. Prophetess Carter was a pediatric nurse from 1983 to 2021 and even now occasionally serves as a nurse, for she believes it is ministry. (Mk. 17:16 NIV).
She founded Gracious Ladies Ministries in 1995 to minister to women pastors, senior pastor’s wives and other women in Christian leadership. GLM offers a mentoring program to its members. Prophetess Carter published, “You Don’t Act Like a Pastor’s Wife,” a memoir, through which many have been blessed. After thirty-six years as a minister’s wife, pastor’s wife, and bishop’s wife, and leader in her own right, she is equipped with a treasure chest of biblical tools to overcome and defeat the enemy of our souls. Her testimony is, “I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread.” (Ps. 37:25 NIV)
